DoF, BFRI, WorldFish, SCMFP, Skippers, Boat Owners, University graduates from Alipur & Mahipur (Patuakhali) were all present for the two-day long workshop.
Participants covered a range of topics focused on Occupational Health for Small Scale Fishers. Material was evidence-based, informative and had a practical element to underpin their learning. Furthermore, advice was given to the trainers on how best to present information for their future workshops.
Darren Mitchell (FISH Safety Foundation) was on call via Zoom and special mention goes to Sazedul and Hasan (FISH Safety Associate) for their dedication and tireless efforts to make this workshop a success.
